From all of us here at Wagner Construction, we wish you a happy new year! Back in December, we shared an update on our progress on a project we’re working on in Wildwood.
The project entails expanding a concrete yard for a large site. We’ll be adding five acres of concrete lay down yard and a 21,000-square-foot metal building roof structure. We’ll also be adding new lighting and Wi-Fi throughout the yard so the facility’s scanning system will be able to search inventory and keep counts updated and accurate.
Previously, we’d completed grading of the site and the installation of a storm water system.
Now, we’re planting new foliage at the site in order to mitigate the removal of existing trees for the project expansion. We’ll be planting 211 crape myrtles, 166 live oaks, and 238 Podocarpus hedges. Once this is complete, we’ll be installing 3 acres of sod as well.
In these pictures, you can see us completing most of the landscaping and irrigation, with most of the trees already planted.
These aerial photos also show the subbase prep for the 5 acres of concrete paving, which will be taking place soon. From here, our next steps are prep for the 5 acres of concrete that we will place and finish.
The project is going well, and we expect to finish in January 2025.
