Fresh Pics From the Ten-8 Remodel, Plus a CO2 Machine Installation

We’ve got a special blog post for you today: a two-for-one special!

If you’ve been following our blog at Wagner Construction, you know we’ve been working on a project for Ten-8 Fire Equipment Inc. in Bradenton. We’re building them a new location, and we’ve shared several updates with you all along the way — one in February, one in May, and another in June. Now, we’re back with fresh photos on this project, as well as an update on another project we completed for Ten-8 to install a CO2 machine.

Bradenton’s New Location

First, let’s take a look at our ongoing project to build Ten-8’s new location.

We’ve now completed all the underground plumbing and electrical and cured the concrete. In Phase 2, we started installing new luxury vinyl plank and new tile flooring, which we’ve now finished installing.

The lobby is now nearly complete with brick accent wall and 75-inch TVs. We’re currently installing a backlit company logo to complete the look.

The training room is now complete with chairs, tables, and a 100-inch TV.

The conference room is also completed with a new custom solid maple wood accent wall, a 100-inch TV, a conference table, custom embroidered chairs, and a speaker and microphone system for remote meeting attendees.

The front offices are looking great with furniture and new 75-inch TVs.

The coffee bar and break room are also shaping up nicely and we’re currently installing the cabinetry, with custom countertops on the way.

We’re making great progress on the new customer and staff bathrooms, with most of the new tile installed. We’re currently awaiting custom bathroom vanities and other bathroom fixtures.

To ensure they match the new theme, we gave the old front door store front and elevator door a fresh coat of paint.

Installing a CO2 Machine

We also helped Ten-8 out with an “Enertia Extraction” CO2 machine install, which uses CO2 to penetrate and clean firefighters’ bunker gear.

We began by thickening the existing interior slab, as well as a water heater and boiler. We also installed new electrical service and transformers for the new equipment and installed a personnel door for maintenance access. The plumber is also installing a new shop sink and relocating a “Solo Rescue” machine used to clean PPE.

Our versatility to complete niche projects like this means we can help with your next Central Florida project no matter what you need. Contact us today to see how we can help.
